The Premier League season may only be three games old, but already the first awards have been handed out.
August has been and gone, and therefore the Premier League handed out it's first gongs for the player, manager and goal of the opening month of the season.
Player of the Month - Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
With back-to-back hat-tricks in his last two games and seven goals across August, there could only really be one winner for Player of the Month. The Norwegian netted in Man City's opening game of the campaign against Chelsea and then followed up with trebles against Ipswich and then, West Ham and lands his third Player of the Month award.
Manager of the Month - Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton and Hove Albion)
Not a bad way to begin life as the Premier League's youngest-ever boss. Hurzeler - who's actually younger than the league itself - has made an unbeaten start as manager of Brighton, including an impressive point away at Arsenal before the international break. Add that to the Seagulls' two wins over Everton and Man United, the award tops off an impressive start for the German.
Goal of the Month - Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
You can't keep Palmer out of the headlines at Chelsea, and his delicious chip in the 6-2 win over Wolves has won him the first goal of the month award of the season.
