Teddy Sheringham believes a Euro 2024 triumph could earn Jude Bellingham the Ballon d’Or.

The trophy usually goes to a player who has dominated European football with his club, but an achievement with a national team can also give nominees an edge in the voting.

Bellingham was outstanding for Real throughout the season after he left Borussia Dortmund last year, and he ended with both a La Liga and a Champions League winners medal.

Next up for the 20-year-old is Euro 2024 for England, with his countrymen amongst the favourites before things get underway in Germany.

Speaking to <a href="https://www.gentingcasino.com/insights/pr/football-insights-teddy-sheringham-3/" target="_blank"> Genting Casino</a>, Sheringham said: “If England win Euro 2024, it will have a big bearing on Jude Bellingham winning the Ballon d’Or, he’s had a fantastic season at Real Madrid and if he scores a few goals and wins the trophy, it will have a huge impact.”
