One team which is leaving their mark on the 2024/25 season so far is Aston Villa.
After a number of years which saw them struggle in the EFL Championship, the Villains are back in the Premier League and are now a serious force.
Last season saw the club qualify for the Champions League 1982, and Villa are already enjoying their return to Europe's top club competition. The West Midlands side sit top of the table with the three wins from three matches, and there is no doubt the highlight was a memorable 1-0 win over Bayern Munich at Villa Park on Matchday Two.

The domestic form is not too bad either. Villa are currently fourth, just five points behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City.
But what is the main reason behind Villa's resurgence, is it the arrival of a certain player?
According to former manager Tim Sherwood, who managed to reach the FA Cup Final with Villa in 2015, it is the arrival of manager Unai Emery who he labels the club's best signing in recent memory.
"First and foremost, the best bit of recruitment they ever did was the manager," Sherwood told Betway.
"It’s the calmness and he's so sure about himself, and he knows and expresses himself to the players that, “I'm the governor, I know I'm doing,” and they believe it. When you start winning games, it's easy for a manager to do that."
Villa return to Premier League action on Sunday when they make the trip to North London to face Tottenham Hotspur.
