There have been some top performers in the Premier League this season, and as we reach the halfway point of the campaign, Tim Sherwood has named the player who has impressed him the most.

Instead of plumping for one of Liverpool's table-topping names or any members of surprise package Nottingham Forest, the Premier League winner has championed one of Bournemouth's standout names.

Speaking exclusively to DAZN News, thanks to Lucky Block, Sherwood has praised the displays of Milos Kerkez and tipped him for a big move in the not-too-distant future.

"Bournemouth have got a left-back in Milos Kerkez, who's outstanding. Outstanding," he said.

"I fear for the likes of Bournemouth and Brighton, who have done very good jobs recruiting down the years. I just fear for Bournemouth being able to keep hold of some of their players. I mean, Richard Hughes has now left. He was a sporting director, and he's gone to Liverpool.

"So, if Robertson is coming towards the end of his career - he's still not done yet, and I think he's still a very good player -  I think we might see Kerkez end up at Liverpool."

The former Tottenham and Aston Villa boss has also singled out two men from those clubs who have also stood out this campaign. Giving special praise to a young England winger at Villa and Spurs' Swedish star.

He added: "Morgan Rodgers is the best nine million you're ever going to spend. I mean, he settled in last season, but this year he's just took it on to another level. He plays in that ten role, dribbles with a ball, and bursts past people. I really think he's the top man.

"I think Kulusevski has been magnificent. In a team that's been inconsistent, I think he's a real horrible threat. I'd hate to play against him.

"You know, he's like six foot three. Dribbles with a ball. Quick, strong. Takes it right to the heart of you. I think he can play for anyone, I really do."
