Tottenham Hotspur have exercised Son Heung-min's contract extension, tying the South Korea international to the Premier League club through 2026.
The forward, who has made 431 appearances for the north London side and scored 169 goals, joined from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and has been captain since August 2023.
A member of the Tottenham team that finished as runners-up in the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League, the fan favourite has emerged as one of the club's defining players.

He holds the record for the most Premier League assists by a Spurs player and sits in the competition's top twenty all-time goal scorers too.
At international level, Song has won 131 caps for South Korea, scoring 51 goals and representing them at the Brazil 2014, Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cups.
A four-time AFC Asian International Player of the Year, he also won gold with his country at the 2018 Asian Games and played in the AFC Asian Cup Final in 2015.
