After playing to a stalemate in the first leg, Union Saint-Gilloise and Bayer Leverkusen will have their Europa League fates decided when they meet for the second leg of their quarter-final tie this week.
The teams drew 1-1 last week in Germany, with Florian Wirtz's 82nd-minute goal saving Leverkusen's blushes after Union had taken the lead just after halftime. That leaves everything to play for when the clubs meet at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, home of RSC Anderlecht and Union's European home due to their regular stadium failing to meet UEFA standards.
Despite the less-than-stellar circumstances of their home matches, Union made the most of their temporary digs the one other time they played there, destroying Bundesliga side Union Berlin 3-0 in the round of 16 to advance to this stage of the competition.
The Belgians will hope for a similar result again.
