We are now just a few months away from FIFA Club World Cup 2025, the biggest edition of the tournament to date with 32 teams from around the globe.
The expanded competition will take place in the United States this summer, just one year ahead of the 48-team 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the number of clubs isn't the only number that has grown in relation to the tournament.
The prize money on offer has risen substantially, enticing the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and others with a massive financial incentive to win the newly minted trophy by famed jeweler Tiffany & Co.

According to an ESPN report, the winning side could earn over $100 million, which rivals the prize money earmarked for winners of the UEFA Champions League.

A report from Sports Illustrated declared the total prize pool to be $2.65 billion, up from $16 million in 2023.
By comparison, the total pot for FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar was $440 million.

Various reports have stated that all 32 clubs will receive $50 million just for participating. How much a team would get for advancing through each stage of the tournament is still under wraps.
