Who will be crowned the best team in Europe?

The European Championship is here and there is a lot of excitement going into the tournament. 

The latest edition is being held in Germany and it will see 24 teams battle it out with the aim of lifting the famous trophy in Berlin on July 14. 

Italy are the defending champions, but there are a number of teams eager to write themselves into the history books including France and England who are considered favourites for the tournament. 

With the schedule locked in and the participating teams making their final preparations, here's everything you need to know ahead of Euro 2024. 

When is Euro 2024?

The opening match takes place on Friday, June 14 with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 14.
