A new season of the Serie A is around the corner, with Lecce, Cremonese and Monza the newest members of the Italian top flight.
Fans of all 20 teams will be eager for play to start once again after AC Milan won the title last season — their first since 2011 (19th overall).
Will the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan be able to challenge Milan in the upcoming campaign? Can Monza make their first ever season in Serie A a memorable one?

When does the 2022-23 Serie A start?
The World Cup in November has forced leagues worldwide to drastically change their schedules, and Serie A is no different.
As such, Serie A will start August 13 this year, more than a week earlier than the previous campaign.
How will the World Cup impact the Serie A season?
The 2022 World Cup starts on November 18 and runs until December 18. Serie A will institute a lengthy break to allow for focus to shift to the action in Qatar.
Serie A clubs will play their last fixtures before the tournament gets underway on the weekend of November 13, 2022. The league will resume January 4, 2023.
The final matchday will take place June 4, 2023.

The complete schedule for the 2022-23 Bundesliga will be released in early July.
