Erik ten Hag walked out of a press conference after his side’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Manchester United manager saw his team grab a point at the Vitality Stadium with a brace from Bruno Fernandes, and they were perhaps fortunate not to have a late penalty given against Willy Kambwala.
VAR ruled the foul to have taken place outside the box, meaning Bournemouth had to settle for a free kick.
United again struggled defensively as their opponents managed 20 shots, and Ten Hag’s future looks far from certain at old Trafford.
The club are now in seventh spot behind Newcastle after failing to win any of their last four matches.
Their worst Premier League finish is seventh spot, when David Moyes took charge before being replaced by Ryan Giggs as a caretaker in the 2013/14 season following Alex Ferguson’s exit.
At the press conference after the match, Ten Hag was asked if he thought United would be able to avoid a similar fate, and the Dutchman answered: "I don't comment on that question.
"That is not important for this moment."
He then decided to end the press conference and walk out, suggesting he could be feeling the pressure.
