Celtic finished 21st in the Champions League table meaning that they will face a seeded team. 

This means that the two potential opponents are Bayern Munich or 15-time European champions Real Madrid.

The draw, which takes place on Friday, will confirm the opponent Celtic will be facing in the play-off round. 

The fixtures will be contested over two legs, and the prospective dates can be found below.
