William Gallas believes Saturday's quarter-final vs. Switzerland will be the last match at Euro 2024 for England.
The Three Lions have underwhelmed at this summer's tournament despite topping their group, and required late heroics by Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane to overturn an early deficit in the round of 16 against Slovakia.
Long-time former Premier League defender Gallas thinks that match's thrilling ending was the final bit of joy England fans will experience this summer as he's predicting a 2-0 loss for Gareth Southgate's side.
"I can see this being a tight game but I don’t see extra-time, I think Switzerland are going to win inside 90 minutes," Gallas told Lord Ping.
"They have some good players and they are very compact, really disciplined and so strong at the back. If you look on paper you would say that England will win, but Switzerland, they play as a team.
"If Switzerland score the first goal it will be difficult for England because they’ll have to push, Italy did that and Switzerland went on to win 2-0. That could happen again."
