A new era is underway at Tottenham Hotspur with the team playing their first Premier League game under manager Ange Postecoglu this past weekend.
Spurs travelled to West London to take on Brentford and came away with a 2-2 draw, and it was a performance which had plenty of positives.
With a new manager in place and the departure of star striker Harry Kane, expectations may have changed for what would be considered a good season, but a return to European competiton must be a priority.
That's a view held by former Spurs defender William Gallas, who believes the team have the ability to achieve this aim.
"It all depends on where Tottenham finish this season," Gallas told Genting Casino when asked about Tottenham's aspirations for the 2023/24 campaign.
"Even with a new manager, Tottenham will expect to finish in the top four. However, it will be hard.
"Last season they finished eighth. They will have to qualify for the European competitions for it to be a good season. I think they could do it, but they will have to fix things at the back."
