William Gallas has dismissed the idea of Harry Kane returning to Tottenham this summer.
There has been hope from Tottenham fans that one day the forward will return to North London, and given Bayern Munich are struggling to win the league this season, some have even hoped he might return to Ange Postecoglou’s team after suffering that shock disappointment.
However, Bayern remain in the Champions League and given his exceptional scoring rate has been maintained since his move to the Bundesliga, there seems little chance that he will be back any time soon.
Gallas believes that there is almost no chance that Kane would consider a return now, but did not rule out a homecoming down the line.
Speaking to Genting Casino, he explained: “Listen, I don’t think that he will be thinking about returning to Tottenham.
“I know the fans love him and are still dreaming about him coming back – they wish he was still there – but next season he won’t be going back.
“Maybe in the future, but not next season.”
