Unlike most other groups at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, Group F has no clear-cut favourite.
France and Brazil, ranked fifth and eighth in the world, respectively, are expected to battle it out for the top spot, while Concacaf duo Jamaica and Panama hope to cause an upset or two. The group's two top teams are each capable of making a prolonged run through the tournament, but neither are considered to be genuine threats to win the entire thing.
They're both likely to advance out of the group, but it's a coin flip as to which side will top Group F. It will probably come down to the July 29 match in Brisbane when they face each other, but neither can afford to slip up against the lesser lights of the group.
