How will the Red Devils get on in the 2024-25 campaign?

Manchester United head into a new campaign with some optimism ahead of the first full season under Sir Jim Ratcliffe's ownership.

Having won the FA Cup last season and cleared up any speculation around Erik ten Hag's future at the club, United go into the new campaign looking to improve on their disappointing league form of 2023-24.

The Red Devils finished in 8th place last season but will have hopes of a top-four challenge this time around, and speaking exclusively to DAZN thanks to Free Bets, former midfielder Kleberson believes the club is in a much better place to fight for honours.

"As a former player, it's difficult to set expectations now," he said.

"Being honest, I was at United where expectations were high. Now we often start each season with optimism, happy with signings, happy with the coaching staff, happy with pre-season but then after a few games it feels like we're missing something.

"But one thing that is particularly positive about this upcoming season is the way they've gone about fixing the structure. Ruud Van Nistlerooy is a great addition. Even in pre-season you can see the players seem to be enjoying themselves. We can see a bringing back of the energy levels.

"Winning the FA Cup last season will have done players a world of good confidence wise. I'm optimistic that they can fight for the Premier League title."
