'Unbelievable to think about!' - Former U.S. Open finalist relishing Six Kings SlamDAZN
Half-a-dozen of the best players in the world are competing this week for a massive prize.

Former U.S. Open finalist Greg Rusedski believes this year's Riyadh Season's Six Kings Slam, live on DAZN, is "unbelievable to think about" ahead of the event.

Half-a-dozen of the best tennis players in the world have descended upon The Venue in the Saudi Arabian capital this week for a blockbuster exhibition tournament.

With the winner taking home a record $6 million USD purse, contenders include grand slam record holder Jannik Sinner, plus rising superstars Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

The rest of the field meanwhile includes Daniil Medvedev, Holger Rune and Rafael Nadal, who will contest in one of his final events before retirement over the four-day showcase.

Rusedski, who reached one major final in 1997, says it has been the talk of the town across the past month, and admits he still finds himself in awe of the promised spectacle.

"I mean, it's just unbelievable to think about it," he told DAZN. "You have two of the all-time greats, probably the two best players in the history of our sport [in] Djokovic and Nadal.

"You have the young bucks coming up, you have Alcaraz and Sinner, who shared all four majors this year, two apiece.

"Then let's not forget Danill Medvedev, who's a world number one grand slam winner, and Holger Rune, the guy that everybody thinks is going to be part of that mix at the party.

"It's an incredible event. They've been talking about it since the U.S. Open. I can't believe this event is happening."

The Six Kings Slam follows last year's Riyadh Season Tennis Cup, where Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in a 4-6 6-4 6-4 encounter to take home the glory.
