As part of Riyadh Season, six of the best tennis players in the world, including Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, have travelled to the Middle East to compete in the Six Kings Slam tournament this week, which started on Wednesday.

The Slam will be part of a season of sporting events in the city, which also includes Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol, PFL Super Fight between Ngannou and Ferreira, WWE Crown Jewel, and Tyson Fury's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
What is the Six Kings Slam Tournament?

The Six Kings Slam is an exhibition tennis tournament held across three days and featuring six big-name players.
As it's a non-ATP-sanctioned event, players will not earn any ranking points. Each of the six participants is guaranteed a minimum prize of $1,500,000 USD, with the winner will taking home the largest prize in tennis history, $6,000,000 USD - almost double the prize money for a Grand Slam champion
Who will be competing in the Six Kings Slam tournament?

Six of the best male players are headlining the tournament. That includes world number one Jannik Sinner and 21-year-old Spanish sensation and world number two Carlos Alcaraz, who claim three Grand Slam titles between them.
They will be joined by two of the modern greats of the game in the form of Novak Djokovic, with more Grand Slam singles titles than any other male (24), and Rafael Nadal, who boasts 22 major titles.
It will be one of the last opportunties to watch Nadal, who will retire at the end of the 2024 season.
World Number five and 2021 US Open winner Daniil Medvedev and Danish top 15 player Holger Rune make up the final duo.

Will Rafael Nadal be playing in the Six Kings Slam?
Yes, the Spanish legend will be competing in the Six Kings Slam tournament.
It will be one of the last events he will feature in, after announcing his retirement from the sport at the end of 2024.
Nadal's last ever professional tennis match will be representing Spain in the Davis Cup Final, which will be held November 19 to 24 in Malaga.
