Who will the Serbian play at the Six Kings Slam tournament?

Novak Djokovic is considered to be one of the greatest tennis players to ever play the game and is part of this week's Six Kings Slam tournament as part of Riyadh Season - live for free on DAZN.

No male player has won more major Grand Slams than the Serbian, having won 24 slams across his legendary career. 

Fans are able to see the 37-year-old compete in this new tournament alongside five of the best tennis players on the planet. 

When is Novak Djokovic's next match?

There are six players competing at the Six Kings Slam, and Djokovic had to wait on day two to play his first game. 

He took on Jannik Sinner on Thursday, for a chance to compete in the tournament's final. 

World number one Sinner set up the tie after beating Daniil Medvedev 2-0 (6-0, 6-3) on Wednesday, and the current top player in the world continued his good form by defeating Djokovic 2-1 (6-2, 6-7, 6-4) in the semi-finals.

Djokovic will now play in the third-place match today against Rafael Nadal, which will be the last competitive meeting between the two, with the Spaniard retiring at the end of the year.

What is the Six Kings Slam Tournament? 

The Six Kings Slam is an exhibition tennis tournament held across three days and featuring six big-name players. 

As it's a non-ATP-sanctioned event, players will not earn any ranking points. Each of the six participants is guaranteed a minimum prize of $1,500,000 USD, with the winner will taking home the largest prize in tennis history, $6,000,000 USD - almost double the prize money for a Grand Slam champion

The Six Kings Slam tournament takes place this week, from Wednesday 16 to Saturday 19 October, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

  • October 16: Medvedev v Sinner; Rune v Alcaraz
  • October 17: Djokovic v Sinner; Nadal v  Alcaraz
  • October 19: Djokovic v Nadal (Third-place match), Sinner v Alcaraz (Final)
