Bryan Danielson is facing a race against time to be medically cleared for AEW All In at Wembley at the end of August.
Closing the show at Forbidden Door 2 last night, Danielson produced something of a miracle as he forced Kazuchika Okada to tap out in the show’s main event.
Danielson’s glory was short-lived through as he quickly admitted that he had injured his forearm in the bout.
No stranger to injuries, Danielson has slowed down his schedule in recent months acting as a mouthpiece for his beloved Blackpool Combat Club stable.
Before that, Danielson’s feud with MJF brought regular combat for the American Dragon as he participated in a number of hard-hitting matches before losing to ‘The Devil’ in a stunning Iron Man match at Revolution.
Now in a privileged position on the roster due to his stunning win over Okada, Danielson would've been expected to feature prominently on the All In card, but it’s not yet clear whether he’ll make it.
Speaking at the post show press conference, Danielson confirmed the injury to his forearm and gave an indication that it could be up to eight weeks that he’s sidelined putting pressure on his body to be ready in time for AEW’s biggest ever show.
