The AEW Tag Team Champions defend their belts at Revolution next month.

Sting and Darby Allin will put their AEW Tag Team Titles on the line against the Young Bucks at next month's AEW Revolution show, in what's set to be the final match of Sting's illustrious wrestling career.

The 64-year-old will bring down the curtain on his near forty-year career as the pair defend their titles in a tornado tag team bout.

Allin has been paired with the wrestling icon since 2021 and competed in several matches under the tag team tornado rules. Speaking exclusively to DAZN's Tom Scarborough ahead of their final outing together, Allin disclosed why the pair benefit from the chaotic nature of the tag stipulation.

"It fits our style absolutely," Allin said.

"Sting isn't going to go out there and trade wrist locks; that's not how we finish. Give the man what he wants. Give the people what they want."

The match will bring an end to the pair's time together and give Allin a chance to focus on himself in AEW without Sting by his side. He believes the timing is perfect ahead of his next battle when he climbs Mount Everest later this year.

"Post Sting, I'm going on this vision quest up Everest, and I'm going to dig deep down inside to remind myself who I am and what I'm capable of. Sting has been there for so long, and now it's like, 'Ok, he's no longer going to be there.

"He's a guy I actually hang out with outside the ring. It's not just like 'seeya Wednesday'. We are always talking, and stuff and it's been very important for me to have that.

"It's going to be strange for me once he leaves, but that's why it's perfect timing for me to go on this quest and see what Darby is all about."
