Rob Van Dam’s AEW debut didn’t go as well as he would've liked as he was defeated by Jack Perry as he tried to win the FTW title.
Perry has been a thorn in the side of many former ECW stars in recent weeks including Tazz, Jerry Lynn, and Rob Van Dam, but did he mock one of those stars with his ring attire on a recent Dynamite.
Very much a trunks man throughout the bulk of his time in AEW, Perry sported pants when taking on Van Dam and they certainly had a familiar look.
Almost identical to the pair that Lynn would wear when performing in ECW against Van Dam, was Perry poking fun at the man who he’s had numerous encounters with these recent weeks?
In the match, Perry was able to secure victory against the veteran performer as he continues to build momentum as one of the company’s premier heels.
Will we see more ECW stars unveiled in coming weeks looking to teach respect to Perry?
