Mark Briscoe’s tough encounter with Rush didn’t go his way on the November 30 episode of Dynamite, but there was a moment in the match that made the tag team specialist standout.
Briscoe has endured a torrid start in the Continental Classic with two losses from his opening two matches but that still hasn’t stopped the AEW star from making the commentary team laugh.
During one of many ferocious exchanges with Rush, Briscoe was heavily floored with a German Suplex before being met with a kick.
He responded well with a desperate clothesline that stopped Rush in his tracks, but the sequence caused a sweet that Briscoe has been chewing to fall out of his mouth.
It didn’t seem to bother Briscoe as he located the treat on the mat and instantly gobbled it back up.
The incident drew huge laugher from Excalibur and Tazz in the broadcast position as they momentarily lost focus due to Briscoe’s action.
