The final night in Philadelphia was full of surprises.

WWE completed their industry-changing WrestleMania weekend last night with the infamous Raw after WrestleMania in Philadelphia.

It had been a weekend that saw a changing of the guard in WWE, as Cody Rhodes finally finished his story and ended Roman Reigns' three-year run as WWE Universal Champion in one of the greatest main events in WrestleMania history.

Traditionally, the Monday Night Raw after WWE's showcase event is seen as a 'new season' and often the most unpredictable and chaotic episode of the year. And while the 2024 vintage didn't quite live up to some of the Raw after WrestleMania's of the past, it delivered some noteworthy moments and included two new faces from NXT - WWE's development brand.

Raw saw the exciting debuts of NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and the new NXT Women's champion Roxanne Perez. Dragunov showcased his skills by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura, while Perez proved her mettle by defeating Indie Hartwell. While it's unclear if this was a one-time appearance, Dragunov's inclusion in the upcoming WWE Draft suggests a potential future on the main roster.
