This weekend sees WWE return to Saudi Arabia for their annual Crown Jewel event in Riyadh.
The show is part of Riyadh Season and will see WWE crown the first-ever male and female Crown Jewel champion, as the title holders from Raw and SmackDown clash in a one-off spectacle.
Here's DAZN's preview and predictions for Saturday's Premium Live Event.
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill vs. Damage CTRL vs. Meta-For vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven Fatal-four-way for WWE Women's Tag Team Championship WWE.com
It's nice to see the Women's tag team championships making it onto a PLE card and it is a nice moment for Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson to be included in a main roster match as NXT talents. Champions Belair and Cargill are still the attraction of this division, and it still feels too early to see the start of any dissension between the two.
That's expected to come in the build to a WrestleMania match between the two, but for now it's likely we'll see them keep hold of the belts, even if it feels like Chelsea Green deserves some gold around her waist.
Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs. "Big" Bronson Reed
WWE have done a great job of building up Bronson Reed in recent weeks, and it comes full circle at Crown Jewel when he takes on Seth Rollins. It was Reed's vicious attack on the Visionary that kicked off his push, and it saw him transition into a high-profile tic feud with Braun Strowman before Rollins eventually returned to gain his retribution.
Since then, the two men have had to be separated every time they've been in a building together, adding to the anticipation of seeing them finally go at it in Riyadh.
Rollins is the likely winner, but Triple H is a big fan of Reed, and a statement win for the Australian would really take him up another level.
Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
The story between Orton, Owens and Cody Rhodes has been wonderfully told in unique chapters that have added layer upon layer to the narrative of this match. The three men have been allies in recent months, but Rhodes teaming with Roman Reigns sent Owens over the edge, and his anger exploded in the direction of Orton.
Now the Viper has demanded this match with his former partner, despite Triple H's reservations, and it will only add another facet to the story between the trio.
The eventual showdown seems to be Owens and Rhodes, so a win for KO should help this along that route. But the even longer game is the even heavier layered angle between Orton and Rhodes.
LA Knight vs. Carmelo Hayles vs. Andrade
LA Knight has been the bystander in the impressive best-of-seven series on SmackDown between Hayes and Andrade, but with both having squandered their US Title shots, they get one final shot at Knight in this triple threat.
This is probably the easiest one to call of the night, with Knight unlikely to drop the belt, especially against two men who aren't completely there yet with fans - even after their standout series. While Knight could do with a meatier feud heading into Survivor Series.
Roman Reigns and The Usos vs. The Bloodline
Unusually for anything involving The Bloodline, it feels like this match has been rushed into happening as part of getting Roman Reigns on a Saudi card. The reunion of Reigns and the Usos feels like it missed a beat or two, and here they are, already back on the same page and ready to take down the new Bloodline once and for all.
It's clear we are heading to a War Games battle between these two factions next month. Therefore, Solo Sikoa and crew have to get the win here, using the numbers game once again to their advantage. Leading to Roman needing a fourth man later down the line...possibly in the shape of Sami Zayn.
Women's World Champion Liv Morgan vs. WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax for the inaugural WWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship
It's been a clever way of intertwining stories, seeing the two champions cross brands in the build to this match with Rhea Ripley and Tiffiany Stratton playing supporting roles. At the centre stage, though, are Morgan and Jax, vying for the first-ever Crown Jewel Championship.
Both women have had a stellar 2024 and with both playing the bad guy role, either could take a loss without losing too much. Morgan, however, has the higher profile story and should jet the victory with the aid of Dirty Dom. Don't rule out yet another Money in the Bank from Stratton, either.
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther vs. WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes for the inaugural WWE Men's Crown Jewel Championship
Both men have tried their hardest to make this match mean something, but it's difficult to see a new title that is centred around one event a year - even by being the first man to win it.
The positives are that Rhodes and Gunther will put on one hell of a show in the main event, and therefore, it will add a must-see element to this match.
As for a winner, it doesn't look like Goldberg is travelling to Saudi, giving Gunther a pathway to win - possibly down to some interference from Kevin Owens costing Cody.
