Where would Cena like to bring the curtain down on his WWE career?

John Cena has revealed which venue he wants for his final WWE match.

After already stating that he has a WWE exit planned for around WrestleMania 43 in 2027, when Cena will turn 50, the WWE icon has now enlightened his fans on where he'd like that final WWE match to take place.

In an interview with BBC's The One Show, the 16-time world champion said that he wants his final outing in a WWE to be at London's O2 Arena.

Cena said: “I’ve been an active advocate for London to be a host of WrestleMania. And a lot of people think when I go out in the middle of the ring and say that it’s just for the local moment like ‘we’re the show we want to make the show happy’.

"Fans in the UK WWE fans are the best, and fans in London specifically, they will let you know how they feel. I don’t think I’ll be able to choose my opponent, but if I can choose a venue it would be the O2 in London.”

While it's unlikely that WWE would host a final Cena match on international waters - and in an arena rather than a large stadium show - it isn't the first time Cena has championed the UK. He made a surprise appearance at last year's Money in the Bank event, where he called on WWE to bring WrestleMania to London at some point in the future.
