The Bloodline saga has already been through many iterations including Roman Reigns' stronghold over the WWE as its Undisputed Universal Champion of over 1,300 days to its current upheaval led by Solo Sikoa and their battle for Tribal Chief.
Well, how much longer can The Bloodline storyline entertain the WWE Universe?
Paul Heyman attempted to explain just that during an appearance on the "Notsam Wrestling" podcast live at Fanatics Fest in New York City over the weekend.
The Wise Man believes The Bloodline storylines are still very much evolving.
"I got news for you, I don’t even think we’re in the third inning yet," Heyman said.
"And now that you see the emergence of Solo and Jacob Fatu and the Tongans and the fact that they are a real threat, the first time a real threat to Roman Reigns’ dominance, to Roman Reigns’ sitting at the head of the table, to Roman Reigns being the top star, to Roman Reigns actually being the Tribal Chief ... how many stories can we tell from the position that we’re in now?”
Heyman went on to pinpoint how some of these moving parts within The Bloodline narrative is what will keep fans glued and guessing what transpires next.
“You don’t know what Jimmy Uso’s stance on this is," Heyman offered.
"You don’t know (where) Jey Uso stands on this. You don’t know if or when the Wise Man will return. You don’t know who else Solo may or may not have in his back pocket ready to debut. You don’t know what our moves, what Roman Reigns’ moves, what my moves, what anybody’s moves can be."
He added: "All you know is that Roman Reigns is back, he’s back to reclaim the title of Tribal Chief from Solo and Solo has so much backup right now that Roman's in deep, deep, deep trouble."
Through his years of experience, Heyman doesn't foresee any WWE brass trying to put an abrupt end to The Bloodline storyline any time soon.
“So, to come full circle, I can’t imagine someone coming into power in this company and saying we’ve told the entire story of The Bloodline. I see someone coming into power and saying, ‘Oh my god, look what I get to play with now.'"
The latest episode of SmackDown concluded with Sikoa, Fatu and Tama Tonga driving Reigns through the announcers' table via a powerbomb.
