Bad Bunny steps into the ring on his own for the first time tonight as he takes on Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at WWE Backlash.
The popular musician has shown his abilities on a WWE stage before, teaming with Priest at WrestleMania 37 to defeat The Miz and John Morrison in a tag-team match, competing at Royal Rumble 2022 and even winning the WWE 24/7 Championship, but tonight will be the first time Bad Bunny will participate in a singles match.
Priest, who also has Puerto Rican heritage, became foes with Bad Bunny after the musician interfered in the WrestleMania 39 match between father and son duo Dominik and Rey Mysterio. Dominik and Priest are allies in "The Judgment Day" faction, leading to Priest taking action against Bad Bunny, which ultimately led to the creation of tonight's match.
