WWE Summerslam 2021: Date, time, TV channel and live stream for John Cena vs. Roman Reigns, Goldberg vs. Bobby LashleyDAZN
WWE's biggest party of the summer returns with fans.

Summerslam is typically WWE's marquee summer event.

That holds special significance this year as Summerslam is WWE's first major pay-per-view event as the 2021 edition takes place from Allegiant Stadium, the home of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders, in Las Vegas, Nev.

WWE is bringing out the heavy hitters for the show as the main event features Roman Reigns defending the Universal Championship against the returning John Cena. The co-main event has Bobby Lashley putting the WWE Championship on the line against the legendary Goldberg.

Cena returned to WWE after confronting Reigns at the end of the Money in the Bank event in the middle of July. After Reigns started teasing a match with Finn Balor for Summerslam, Baron Corbin attacked Balor at a contract signing and tossed him into the crowd. As Corbin went to sign the contract to face Reigns, Cena sneak attacked Corbin and ended signing the contract to face Reigns. It will be Cena's first time in the ring since WrestleMania 36 in April 2020.

Lashley had beaten Keith Lee on the July 18 WWE Raw when he said he was running out of challengers. And out of nowhere came the former WCW, WWE World, and Universal Champion to let the titleholder that he was stepping up the plate to challenge Lashley.

Summerslam 2021 should be a card we will remember for many years to come.
