Arsenal are back on top of the Premier League and back to winning ways after a poor run of form that allowed Manchester City to briefly take over first place in the standings.
Prior to their back-to-back league wins over Leicester City and Aston Villa, the Gunners had embarked on a three-match winless streak. The most disappointing of those results was a 1-0 loss at Everton on Feb. 4, with the Toffees' status as relegation fodder meaning Arsenal should have taken all three points at Goodison Park.
Now the teams meet again, this time at the Emirates, and Arsenal are looking to atone for their earlier performance against Everton with a victory on Wednesday.
"It’s a case of doing things better than we did when we played them a few weeks ago and earning the right to win the game," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said. "Hopefully [Wednesday] we will play much better than we did that day."
