The Greatest of All Time — no doubt.
Jon Jones returned to the Octagon for his first fight in more than three years, moved up to the heavyweight division and made easy work of Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Jones made the French fighter tap to a guillotine choke for a first-round submission just 2:04 seconds into the fight to be crowned the new heavyweight champion of the world.
The moment came when Jones swiftly ducked under a punch, took Gane's back and scored a huge takedown. Moments later, "Bones" segued that takedown into a guillotine choke with Gane's back against the cage.
Gane submitted to the hold, clearly cementing Jones's greatness and undisputed MMA GOAT status.
"I had this strong conviction that if I were to get him down to the ground, the fight would be in my area," Jones told Joe Rogan after the victory.
"I've been wrestling since I was 12-years-old and I feel stronger and more comfortable, especially on the ground, than ever."
Here's how the entire UFC 285: Jones vs. Gane event unfolded.
