UFC 275: Zhang Weili crushes Joanna Jedrzejczyk with walkoff spinning backfist in Knockout of the Year contenderDAZN

Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk had one of the greatest fights in UFC history back in March 2020, when the former escaped with a razor-thin split decision.

More than two years later at the UFC 275 pay-per-view at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on Sunday and Weili not only ended their rivalry, but she did it in spectacular fashion.

When an overzealous Jedrzejczyk went for a left-right striking combination about midway through the second round, Weili pounced with a slick spinning backfist across the jaw that slept her rival at the point of impact. The walkoff shot became an instant Knockout of the Year contender, sending Twitter into a frenzy.

The emphatic ending came a round after Weili and Jedrzejczyk showed the same frenzied pace that they did in their original meeting.

A victorious Weili declared "I'm back," as she snapped a two-fight skid.

Following her fifth loss in her last seven fights, Jedrzejczyk laid her gloves in the Octagon, signaling her retirement.
