The holiday season continues in the U.S. with the day after Thanksgiving — commonly known as Black Friday — offering a rare weekday NFL game as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Chiefs (10-1) were the final holdouts as the league's remaining undefeated team until their Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills allowed the 1972 Miami Dolphins to breathe easy again. The loss may have also taken off much of the pressure on the Chiefs, who are the back-to-back reigning Super Bowl champions with sky-high expectations for the season already, and Kansas City got back to winning ways last weekend with a 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Now they prepare to face another struggling team in the Raiders (2-9), who are at the bottom of the AFC West and mired in a seven-game losing streak.
2024 NFL Black Friday Game date, start time
The Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders will face off at 3:00 p.m. ET on Friday, November 29.
That means it will be a 12:00 p.m. start for those watching on the west coast, while it will take place at 8:00 p.m. the same day in the United Kingdom.
The Chiefs arrive on the back of that narrow victory over the Panthers, while the Raiders came up short against the Denver Broncos last time out.
