New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has outlined his aims ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Rodgers' 2023 campaign lasted four plays. The future Hall of Famer tore his Achilles on his Jets debut and sent the AFC East franchise into a tailspin.
New York finished a tumultuous season with a 7-10 record, missing the playoffs for the 13th consecutive season.
Speaking on Cameron Hanes' Keep Hammering Collective podcast, Rodgers confirmed his goals for 2024, saying: "The goal is to play every game. The most important ability is availability.
"That was what made last year so heartbreaking. I trained so hard. The work that I put in at 39 years old made me the fittest I'd ever been."
The four-time MVP is bullish ahead of the upcoming campaign, adding: "I want to beat Father Time a few more years.
"I like our chances, our players, and our coaching staff. We just need to put it together. We have a good group of really talented youngsters, and if I'm out there, we've always got a chance."
