The New York Giants are having a rough season, but the Baltimore Ravens won't allow themselves to underestimate their struggling opponents.
The teams will meet on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in a match-up that seems pretty straightforward: the Ravens are a playoff-contending team and the Giants are not.
Their respetctive records tell the larger story, with the Giants sitting at a woeful 2-11 while Baltimore (8-5) will almost surely clinch a postseason berth with a victory.
The Giants have also lost eight games in a row and have an injured quarterback in Drew Lock, so all signs point to an easy day out for a Ravens team eager to improve their seeding.
However, John Harbaugh isn't allowing his players to head into the weekend overconfident.
"The challenge is playing the team that we're playing, and this team has really good players, and this team has a lot of motivation to play well," the Ravens head coach told reporters on Wednesday. "They're going to be motivated to win the game. That's the way it is in the National Football League.
"There's no difficulty in getting ready for a team. We understand how good every single team is. The New York Giants are a very talented, very tough [and] very well-coached football team. They're very capable, and we're going to have to play our best football to win the game. Thats what we're focused on."
The game will be available in a number of regions for free via NFL Game Pass on DAZN.
