It was a historic day for Kyle Hamilton.
The second-year safety was seemingly everywhere for the Baltimore Ravens during the first half of their Week 3 game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. In the opening 30 minutes of play at M&T Bank Stadium, Hamilton registered three sacks on Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew.
According to the Ravens, Hamilton's three first-half sacks were the most by a Baltimore player in a single game since 2020, and the most by a player in a half in team history. Additionally, Hamilton is now the all-time NFL co-leader for sacks by a defensive back in a single half of play.
Sunday's haul boosted Hamilton's career sack total to five, as he only recorded a pair in the entire 2022 season.
