San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is the 2023 NFL Offensive Player of The Year. The NFL awarded McCaffrey last night at the NFL Honors.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed an exceptional season. With 21 regular season touchdowns and a league-leading 1,459 rushing yards, McCaffrey has powered the 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance.

Moreover, McCaffrey holds the 49ers record for most consecutive games with a touchdown. He also has the 49ers record for most single-season rushing touchdowns.

With those records, it was no surprise that McCaffrey ran away with the award. He won 39 of the 50 votes.

While he was thankful for winning the Offensive Player of The Year Award, McCaffrey reiterated that there is one more trophy to take.

McCaffrey said, "We have one more. Let's go finish the right way."

If the 49ers are to win Super Bowl 58, McCaffrey must play at his record-breaking best. A Super Bowl win could perfectly end an incredible season for the NFL's best offensive player.
