It's looking like Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has a long road of recovery ahead of him after suffering an injury during training camp.
Burrow picked up a right calf strain this past Thursday and was carted off the field which prompted plenty of nerves amongst Bengals fans.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Taylor gave an update on the injury and confirmed that Burrow would be out for "several weeks".
However, it's unlikely that Burrow will miss the start of the regular season when the Bengals take on the Cleveland Browns on opening weekend according NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo.
Burrow is no stranger to injuries since being drafted by the Bengals as the number one overall pick in 2020. A promising rookie season was brought to an abrupt end by an ACL injury, and this was then followed by an appendectomy at the start of last year's training camp.
