Former NFL quarterback and current analyst Dan Orlovsky has provided an aggressive take on the 2024 NFL Draft.
The 2024 NFL Draft is 48 days away. The Chicago Bears hold the first overall pick and many expect the Bears to draft a quarterback, but which one?
Caleb Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, is the projected first overall pick. The USC quarterback boasts all the physical tools to become an NFL superstar.
However, Orlovsky sees it differently. He thinks the Bears should draft a quarterback, but not Williams.
Orlovsky told the Pat McAfee Show: "I would take Jayden Daniels over Caleb Williams. I think Jayden is the number one quarterback. If I were Chicago, I would draft Jayden."
"I think Jayden just does stuff within the pocket more consistently, and he's a better natural thrower."
Daniels has rocketed up many draft boards after winning the 2023 Heisman Trophy. Experts have compared him to two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.
