What can the Jets achieve in 2024?

The New York Jets had high hopes for the 2023 NFL season. Those hopes were dashed when Aaron Rodgers' Achilles snapped on the fourth play of the season.

Without Rodgers, the Jets hit a tailspin and finished with a losing season. Their 7-10 record extended their playoff drought to 13 years.

But with Rodgers returning from injury, the Jets have renewed optimism for 2024.

Former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky assessed the Jets' situation ahead of the 2024 campaign. Orlovsky told Get Up, "The Jets are the biggest finger-cross team in the NFL. Jets fans should cross their fingers that their players stay fit.

"This is the best Jets roster of my lifetime. I expect Aaron Rodgers to be the same player that we've seen. If Mike Williams stays fit, he will make an impact."

However, Orlovsky did pinpoint a potential weakness: "The big dice roll is whether the Jets can rely on an injury-prone Tyron Smith to protect a 40-year-old Aaron Rodgers. It's a fingers-crossed situation, but if they can stay healthy, they'll have a chance."

The Jets will be one team to watch in the 2024 season. They have high hopes, but Orlovsky issued one warning, "If the Jets don't win a Super Bowl, it will be a massive disappointment."
