The New York Jets were launched in 1960 as a charter member of the AFL.

During their first three seasons, they were knowns as the Titans and played at the Polo Grounds. A new owner and a new venue (Shea Stadium) brought about the name change that has stuck ever since, and the Jets thrived through the second half of their inaugural decade.

The Jets have since struggled to match their early years as a franchise, but new signing Aaron Rodgers could help lead the team back to glory.

Exactly how successful have the Jets been? DAZN finds out below.

Along with the New Orleans Saints, the Jets have the distinction of being one of just two teams to have appeared in a single Super Bowl and walked away victorious.

As heavy underdogs at Super Bowl III, the Jets represented the AFL with distinction as they defeated the NFL's Baltimore Colts. The Jets became the first AFL team to defeat an NFL team in their combined championship game.

When was the last New York Jets Super Bowl win?

As noted, the Jets have been in just one Super Bowl, which they won in 1969.
