Things aren't going well this season for either the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Tennessee Titans, but both teams will look to turn things around when they face eather on Sunday.
The Titans (3-9) are in third place in the AFC South and their playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. As bad as it is for the Tenneseeans, it's worse for the Jags (2-10), who have already been eliminated from postseason contention and sit below the Titans in the division standings.
They'll also likely be without quarterback Trevor Lawrence for the remainder of the year.
With a rare chance to face a team below themselves in the standings, the Titans have a crucial opportunity to get back to winning ways after suffering a 42-19 defeat to the Washington Commander last week.
Regardless of how poorly Jacksonville has been doing, the Titans know that winning won't come easy to them.
“We don’t know how to have success,” Tennessee defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons said after the Washingtton defeat. “It felt like we were hungover, hungover from success. … that’s top to bottom, not just the players.
"It starts with everybody in this building, from top to bottom.”
