The Jacksonville Jaguars begin their quest for a second-straight AFC South title as they visit the Indianapolis Colts to kick off both teams' 2023  NFL season on Sunday.

The Jaguars went 9-8 last season, good enough for the divisional crown and their first trip to the playoffs in five years. Despite their lacklustre overall record, things looked promising towards the end of the regular season as the Jags won six of their final seven games, leading into a thrilling one-point victory in the Wild Card round before they fell in the Divisional round to eventual Super Bowl champions Kansas City.

Jacksonville will now look to carry that momentum into the new season, and the first stop is a visit to Indianapolis where the Colts will aim for improvement on a woeful 4–12–1 record.

To that end, the Colts are hoping that new head coach Shane Steichen, along with fourth-overall draft pick Anthony Richardson, can help lift them out of the doldrums.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Jaguars vs. Colts.
