New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson has compared veteran Jimmy Graham to Master Splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
In the comics, Master Splinter is the wise teacher of the turtles, and at 36 years old Graham is certainly the most experienced player in the Saints' tight end room.
Graham was originally drafted in the third round by the Saints back in 2010, and re-joined the franchise on Tuesday on a one-year deal.
Graham's 51 total receiving touchdowns to date for the Saints is second of all time for the franchise, while he is sixth in total touchdowns, receptions and receiving yards.
Juwan and Graham are joined in the Saints' tight end room by the versitile Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau.
Speaking to the media at the Saints' training camp, Johnson said: "The way I see it with Jimmy is that we are the Ninja Turtles and he is Master Splinter.
"He's the OG of OGs of tight ends, we're all in there and he's been so helpful for us, he's so decorated not only here but across the NFL.
"It's so good for a guy like that to be in here and lead us and tell us about his game."
