Marshawn Lynch is a Hall of Famer, according to former teammate Russell Wilson.
Lynch and Wilson shared a backfield in Seattle when the Seahawks won Super Bowl 48. The duo helped build Seattle's mini-dynasty of the 2010s.
Lynch and Wilson also shared the field during one of the NFL's most famous moments. The Malcolm Butler interception will tie Lynch and Wilson together forever.
It was a controversial play, seemingly ending the duo's relationship.
However, Wilson has now spoken glowingly about his former teammate.
Wilson told the I Am Athlete podcast, "To me, he (Marshawn) should be a Hall of Fame football player. You know what he meant to Seattle, what he meant to our team, and what he meant to me. I wouldn't be as great as I am without him, watching him and observing him and also vice versa, just how hard he worked."
Lynch finished his career with over 10000 rushing yards and 85 rushing touchdowns. He was a five-time Pro Bowl nominee and two-time NFL rushing leader. 'Beast Mode' is eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2025.
