The New England Patriots LB missed time in 2023.

New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon is looking to get back down to business in 2024 after missing the majority of last season with a torn lower bicep.

The four-time Pro Bowler suffered the injury in the Patriots' Week 4 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and was ruled out for the rest of the season.

Speaking to Good Morning Football, Judon has described the worst part about suffering a bicep injury.

"It felt like a rubber band had hit me," said Judon.

"I was like, 'Dang! This really hurts!' and I couldn't really move or bend it.

"Then the worst bit is trying to get the pads and jersey off, if it's broken they would cut it off but not for the bicep.

"Obviously then I had to shower, I couldn't move my right hand and it was hurting.

"But we got into surgery and it's healed really fast."

And speaking on his recovery, Judon said will be ready to go for the start of the next season, as a new era begins in New England under head coach Jerod Mayo.

"Comeback is going good, me and my trainers are working hard to get back all the strength and flexibility, and we're there now!"
