The Buffalo Bills' domination over the Miami Dolphins continues.
James Cook rushed for three first-half touchdowns and Buffalo's defense racked up 17 points off Miami turnovers as the Biills destroyed the Dolphins, 31-10, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida on Thursday Night Football.
Buffalo has now defeated Miami in 12 of the last 13 games between the AFC East rivals.
The loss was especially costly for the Dolphins on Thursday night as starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was intercepted three times before being hit hard during the third quarter and ruled out of the game due to a concussion, adding to the QB's documented history with concussions. Tagovailoa suffered the concussion while scrambling on a 4th down rush.
The game was out of reach even prior to that scary scene as Cook's three TDs helped power the way to a 24-10 halftime lead which the Bills built on during the third quarter when Ja'Marcus Ingram recorded his second interception of the game — the latter being a pick-6 that ballooned Buffalo's lead to 31-10 which stood until the end of regulation.
With the victory, the Bills improve to 2-0 and will host the Jacksonville Jaguars next Monday night. The Dolphins fall to 1-1 with Tagovailoa's health being a major concern as the team visits Seattle next Sunday.
