There definitely will not be a repeat Super Bowl champion this year, as the Los Angeles Rams followed up their title-winning season with a woeful 5-12 campaign.
Instead, one of 14 playoff teams will raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of the postseason. Naturally, some teams are seen to have a better chance to win it all given their performances in the regular season, but the playoffs are a different beast as many failed favourites of the past can attest.
Will this year's champion emulate last year's Chargers, who were +750 to win the Super Bowl at this point in the campaign? If so, that has to be good news for the Cincinnati Bengals, who were Super Bowl runners-up last year and enter the playoffs with identical odds to the previous champs. Or will the Kansas City Chiefs prove oddmakers right as the top-ranked favourite at +325?
Ahead of the wild card round, here are the odds for each team as well as DAZN News' predicted winner.

Super Bowl 57 winner: Prediction
Buffalo Bills
The Bills head into the playoffs having not lost in two months, and they've allowed the fewest points against in the AFC (second-fewest in the entire league) despite losing eight-time Pro Bowl OL Von Miller on Thanksgiving to an ACL injury.
On the offensive side, Josh Allen continues his ascent to the upper echelon of NFL quarterbacks. With Allen taking the snaps the Bills are among the most potent teams in the league, having put up the second-most points in the conference.
Buffalo's played some of the most exciting, high-octane football in the NFL all season long, and their play style seems to translate well to the higher stakes that come in the postseason. Additionally, the team has been through the grind before — this is now a perennial playoff team that has accumulated valuable experience as Allen matured into one of the best pivots in the game.
And of course there's the emotional factor. Damar Hamlin's scary on-field medical emergency in Week 17 caused a tidal wave of support throughout the league and the greater sports world, and locally it provides a focal point to galvanize the team around a cause. Winning the entire thing for Hamlin would be a true Hollywood ending, but the Bills are more than good enough to do just that.
