Of the final five, four are quarterbacks, with San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey.

The four quarterbacks are former MVP Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy.

Fifty associated press members and Pro Football Writers of America members have voted.

Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers are some recent MVP winners.

This year's winner will follow in famous footsteps, especially if it is a new MVP.

Four of the five nominees have never been NFL MVP before.

It promises to be an exciting and emotional night on Thursday. The MVP Award is one of the most coveted. Every player would love to have MVP on their CV.
