On Wednesday, the NFL announced the players of the week for the AFC and NFC in Week 18.
AFC
Offense: Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Nix was integral as the Broncos clinched a playoff spot with a 38-0 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Denver quarterback threw for for 321 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions on 26 of 29 attempts (89.7%), for a 152.4 passer rating. Nix added 47 rushing yards.
Defense: Trey Hendrickson, Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals defensive end put up 3.5 sacks in the Bengals' 19-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, securing him the 2024 league sack title.
Hendrickson also recorded five tackles and three tackles for loss in the Week 18 encounter.
Special teams: Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers
This is back-to-back Player of the Week nods for Dicker, who was responsible for 14 of the Chargers' 34 points in their victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Dicker converted a pair of extra points and four of five field goal attempts.
NFC
Offense: Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
Gibbs was unstoppable in the marquee game of Week 18, scoring four touchdowns from 139 rushing yards and 31 receiving yards as the Lions clinched the top seed in the NFC with a commanding 31-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Defense: YaYa Diaby, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Diaby's defensive work was crucial for the Bucs as they clinched a playoff spot with a 29-17 win against the New Orleans Saints.
The outside linebacker made five tackles in the game, four tackles for loss and a sack.
Special teams: Josh Blackwell, Chicago Bears
Blackwell was involved in arguably the most talked-about play of Week 18, as he made 94-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers in a 24-22 win.
The TD return also involved DJ Moore, who faked returning the ball on the other side of the field, opening up the play for Blackwell to exploit.
